Chartered Building Surveyors are specifically trained in the principles and processes of construction and in the capabilities and compatibility of materials. We have been retained on a number of occasions to assist building owners in Defect Analysis. This sometimes includes opening up works. Once the defect has been identified we can advise on the correct method of repair. We can also act as an expert witness should the need arise.
